It is the end of the century in a small, backwaters place known as Dunwich Landing. People might try to call it Tombstone, Arizona, but they’d be fools. A large mining boom for copper and other desired resources created the need for miners, which linked to the need to support the miners and so Dunwich Landing became a pimple in the desert, festering with the lives and trials of those who worked in the mines and those who supported them.
It’s 1943 and the world is at war. Millions of people are in Europe and Asia fighting the Axis. Rationing is making it hard to get many items, and people are in need for things to lighten their spirits. This is the backdrop for the KLYT radio tation 1369 on your AM dial, where Mona L., Tyrone Bendet, and Lisa Luster are your station jockeys, and a large cast of actors putting on shows for your entertainment, amusement, and yes even a little titillation, or in the case of Mona, large titillation.
Set in the 1980s in England, this school is a last ditch resort for wayward youth. Teens and teachers who do not fit in well in other institutions are dumped, well sent, here to have one last chance at making a go at the crazy little thing called life. Did we mention the monsters?
